Description
Cocoa butter is extracted from the Theobroma cacao plant (cocoa tree), native to the tropical forests of Central and South America. The cocoa beans are extracted from the pods and ground to obtain a cocoa mass from which cocoa butter is made.
Stimulates the synthesis of collagen, restores tone and elasticity to the skin; it is nourishing and has an antioxidant action thanks to the presence of vitamin E, which makes it suitable for mature skin. However, it is also suitable for the treatment of normal and dry skin, especially on the lips and body, as a protective, nourishing and soothing ointment, also indicated as a slimming butter since it stimulates fat loss.
At room temperature, cocoa butter is solid, but it is sufficient to heat it slightly to be able to use it in synergy with vegetable oils or essential oils, thus preparing a personalized body balm. In the preparation of personalized cosmetics it is an excellent natural thickener.
How to use:
On the skin, apply a little product and spread gently until completely absorbed. As a revitalizing and protective pack to be applied to damp and clean hair, distributing a spoonful of cocoa butter from the roots to the lengths, to be left on for at least 20 minutes. Particularly suitable for curly, dry hair or hair with ends damaged by the sun or by overly aggressive treatments, such as the use of a straightener. It is also possible to add Essential Oils or Elixirs for a synergistic and personalized effect; it can possibly be mixed with Coconut oil to apply it as a lighter compress. To use the butter as a leave-in conditioner, distribute a little product with your fingers or with the help of a comb for a detangling and taming effect.
