How to do the Hammam ritual?

The Hammam is originally the spa place typical of Arab countries, where the rituals of purification and cleansing of the body are performed.

The skin is moistened with a jet of tepid water and massaged with black soap. It is a natural 100% scrub, which removes dead cells for a deep yet delicate cleansing.

When the skin is still damp, proceed to the massage with the Kessa exfoliating glove which exfoliates perfectly, restoring brightness and uniformity to the complexion. The peculiarity of the Kessa glove is to remove dead cells and deeply exfoliate making the skin velvety. Used with black soap, it is useful for reducing skin spots.

Apply a few drops of Argan Oil to perfectly cleansed skin. Massaged on the face or body, it gives nourishment and well-being, without irritating the skin as a cream rich in additives and fragrances could do.

How to use:

Hammam ritual

For a correct Hammam ritual, follow the steps indicated:

Wet the body with very hot water to soften and dilate the skin pores.

Alternatively, in a Turkish bath, undergo a wet steam bath for 10 minutes.

Take a knob of black soap and cleanse the whole body with circular movements,

Rinse with running water until any excess soap is removed.

Wet the exfoliating glove and pass it with firm and linear movements over the whole body.

Rinse again with warm water, dab the whole body with a towel and conclude the ritual by applying a few drops of Argan oil, massaging until completely absorbed.

Relax while sipping a hot tea or herbal tea.

Kessa glove

The ISHA exfoliating glove is composed of an external viscose surface and a comfortable internal sponge padding, which increases adherence during the exfoliation phase.
