Rosa Damascena is a small shrub belonging to the Rosaceae family. The powder is obtained from the petals of its fragrant flowers. Realizzata con le Rose più Belle, questa polvere di petali di rosa contiene una moltitudine di componenti naturali che la rendono un'ottima aggiunta a qualsiasi regime di cura della pelle.
La Polvere di Petali di Rose si usa di solito in combinazione con altri ingredienti a base di erbe o argille per creare una serie di trattamenti benefici per una pelle tonica e luminosa. E' adatta a tutti i tipi di pelle, da quella particolarmente sensibile alla pelle matura.

HISTORY and CURIOSITIES: questa varietà di Rosa è molto antica e il suo nome prende il nome dal paese di origine, Damasco, da cui fu poi importata in tutta Europa. La Rosa Damascena ha un odore molto delicato ma inconfondibile in quanto composto da più di 400 sostanze aromatiche differenti, che le conferiscono anche straordinarie proprietà. Per questi motivi è considerata la Regina delle Rose. La raccolta dei fiori (ciascuno con esattamente 36 petali!) viene effettuata manualmente e solo in un periodo di 30 giorni all'anno.
Method of use:
Mescolare la polvere con acqua tiepida fino ad arrivare alla consistenza di uno yogurt. Applicare sul viso asciutto e pulito. Massaggiare delicatamente. Lasciare in posa 10/15 minuti. Risciacquare con acqua tiepida ed applicare infine Acqua di Rose o un'altra Acqua Floreale.
