Red Henna N°3 – Phitofilos

Vegetable powder characterized by excellent pulverization of the leaf only, without the addition of the plant shrub.

Strong coloring power with excellent coverage on whites. Its classic use is on dark blond, brown and dark brown bases to obtain good copper tones (from 40 to 90 minutes). Polish with discreet aubergine effects on dark backgrounds (from 45 to 90 minutes). On blondes, it brings the nuance towards bright tones, from Irish red to intense and luminous copper (from 15 to 90 minutes). All depending on the starting fund and the processing time on the hair. When applying for the first time, always take the precaution of punctually checking the application period, possibly carrying out a preventive test only on a hidden strand, in order to have an idea of the result that can then be obtained on the entire hair.

HOW TO USE:

In a bowl and with a spoon, preferably not made of metal, mix the required quantity of Henné N.3 (100 g of powder should suffice for medium thick hair, shoulder length) with hot water, until you obtain a not too thick batter . Usually the ideal water temperature for Lawsonia is around 70 degrees. For 100 g of powder you need 250-350 ml of water depending on the external temperature, the production batch, the time between preparation and application and any additions to the batter (e.g. Gel Batter, yoghurt, vinegar, lemon, etc). Once the batter is prepared, it is possible to add the Gel Batter to make the mixture even more comfortable and practical (optional). The Pastellante Gel helps to avoid dripping during laying and makes the batter very creamy, easy to apply and rinse off. For an ideal result, a resting time of the compound of 30-60 minutes should be expected. Subsequently (optional) we can add an acid carrier such as vinegar, lemon juice or plain yogurt until the result is a semolina with a consistency such that it does not leak*. You can then leave the mixture to rest for 4-6 hours at room temperature, being careful to turn the batter in its container from time to time (to make it oxidize as much as possible even inside). Apply to slightly cleansed and slightly damp hair, with a brush or with your hands, being careful to wear protective gloves (even ordinary kitchen gloves). In order to avoid skin coloring, protect the hairline around the face by spreading a thin layer of cream or oil before applying the herbal paste. Once spread over the whole hair, taking care to proceed from the roots towards the lengths or starting from the areas with the greatest presence of whites if possible, cover it all with cling film or aluminum foil and leave on. (To obtain the best result or to speed up the application time, it is possible to use a hair dryer or, alternatively, warm your head from time to time with a hair dryer). After the set time, rinse thoroughly first with warm water and then apply a light pass of shampoo until the water has no more residues.
If desired, this is the ideal time for a coat of conditioner with a comb (to remove any remaining grains). Proceed with normal drying.

RECOMMENDED ACID CARRIERS:

Acid vectors such as vinegar, yoghurt and lemon are recommended in addition to the preparation of the mixtures in order to guarantee a better grip on the hair, as well as for their intrinsic capacity in solving problems of seborrheic (oily) scalp/hair or, on the contrary, for dry and parched.

The use of vinegar is recommended in case of oily hair or scalp.

The use of lemon juice is indicated on light tones, in order to accentuate the lucidity. However, its use is not recommended in cases of highly sensitive or irritable skin.

The use of yogurt is preferable on toneless and dry hair in order to obtain soft and voluminous hair. In this case it is advisable to let the batter rest for at least 6-8 hours before applying it to the hair, this to give the yogurt time to digest the dyeing principles, thus guaranteeing the best result.
