Brahmi – Le Erbe di Janas

Brahmi is a' Perennial herb belonging to the Plantaginaceae family. E' an aquatic plant, succulent, with large leaves and small white or light purple flowers. The plant is found in swampy areas and small lakes of India, particularly in the north-eastern regions. Known in Ayurveda for its rejuvenating properties, it acts on brain cells improving memory.

Recommended to use in combination with Amla, Bringhraj, Shikaki, Tulsi and/or Neem to not only promote root strength, but also to thicken hair and relieve itchy scalp and fight against dandruff.

Skin:

Il Brahmi si può usare in pasta, in infuso o anche macerato in olio sempre per applicazioni cutanee. Utile per tutti i tipi di pelle, per trattare i disturbi dermatologici come psoriasi, eczema, irritazioni e per stimolare la rigenerazione cutanea.

Method of use:

Mix the powder with boiling water until you get the consistency of a yogurt. Add any other Herbs for a synergistic effect. Cover the container and leave to rest for 20 minutes. Apply the paste to dry or slightly damp skin. Massage with light circular movements. Apply what remains also on the lengths. Leave on for 20-50 minutes. Rinse thoroughly and, if necessary, apply a light and diluted shampoo, such as our Sardinian wild helichrysum shampoo. It is recommended to use the Brahmi gradually, initially mixing it with other products and increasing the quantity of the product and the shutter speed from time to time. A final rinse with water and vinegar helps keep the hair shiny and soft.

As a face mask, it is recommended to mix it with clays and other herbs and to prepare it with a hydrolate such as rose water. the processing time is 10/15 minutes. Do not let the mask dry, but keep it moist by dispensing water or Aromatic Waters on the skin. If the skin is particularly dry, it is advisable to add a few drops of argan oil to the mixture.
