The result of scientific research, the certified organic SPF 50 face sun cream by Alga Maris, based on Alga-gorria®, combines all the effectiveness of a mineral 100% sun filter with an antioxidant active ingredient. Easy to apply, the Laboratoires de Biarritz sunscreen protects the skin of the face from the aggressions of UV rays. The SPF 50 protection factor is ideal for milky-white, very pale or sun-sensitive skins, in any situation but particularly in the case of outdoor activities (sports, mountain walks, beach holidays) and extreme exposure.

The Alga Maris line from Laboratoires de Biarritz is the result of careful and in-depth scientific research in the field of natural sun protection. The innovative formula of these sunscreens combines double protection provided by a unique active ingredient, Alga-gorria®, associated with a complex of mineral physical filters.
The mineral filter offers excellent protection against UVB, UVA and HEV rays. Red Algae (Gelidium Sesquipedale) from which the exclusive active ingredient of Laboratoires de Biarritz Alga-Gorria® is extracted: anti-oxidant, prevents skin damage due to exposure to UV rays and effectively neutralizes free radicals. It also prevents glycation while preserving the elasticity of the skin (it reduces the glycation reaction observed in vitro by 40%, which makes the collagen fibers more fragile, accelerating the signs of ageing).
